fa-a - thanks for what you said on my journal the other day!

This is my good night post. I'm not much use as an idiot. I can't seem to find all these wonderful scrappy skirmishes that seem to be going on lately.

Yawn. Gotta get up in like 5 hrs. Doh!

Wait, bob. You're in the NYNY hotel right? Get some of that NY attitude: Why didn't you just b@tch slap her and say, "Where's my drink?"

DISCLAIMER: for anybody lurking, this is a JOKE. You know? Just kidding? The play on the stereotypical NY attitude? Ah forget it...

Liny, DID the paper plane ever make it.

Sheesh, I've had far too much wine and the stupid, frickin' keyboard won't work.

Bob, I think I've disappointed you. I'm sorry. People here who see the "recovered" Jen have NO idea what Rob and I went through.

Bob, I think I've disappointed you.

Never DARE say that to me again ! You are my HEROINE and you know it !!!!!

I love you enough to speak freely with you. Tonight would be my nightmare. For you two it was closure. Thats why you have recovery Jen. Because you two have not been scare dto do what works for YOU !. I remember you saying that your midnight shouting matches had been amongst the most progressive talks you had when MB says ' no LBS'.

I listened. I will learn from you rlatest escapade in the same way Jen. I am a different man no than I was 6 months ago. I will be dfferent again in another six months. Will I be as cool as Rob ? maybe. but without the sexy accent

I love you, I learn from you, I thank God for you.

Kay, Bob.

Taking my little drunken tail between my legs and going to talk to the only man that matters.

Thanks, guys, I knew you'd all come through for me.

What a freakin' week.

Thank God, "difficult woman" is on vacation this week.

I couldn't cope.

Well, I'ville, I'm knackered, missing my Squid and my kids dreadfully, tired of Vegas and ready for bed.

Bless you all ( particularly Jen and family at this hard time). See you in the morning all.

I've never posted to you before, but I just want to take this opportunity to tell you how much I admire you and how much you deserve to be the centre of Squid's world. I have followed your situation for a while and feel so inadequate in my own efforts. But you inspire me. Thank you.

Why, Bob? When you can sleep in those bloody seminars?

Peace, man. (And rememeber--you are your children's hero, becoming squid's hero again, and many of us here on MB. )

Hey LINY - How are you doing this evening? I've been popping in and out between meetings... so I'm not able to keep up especially when Mr. Mayor and Jen fill up two whole pages!

Hey Bob - You stay away from those cute waitresses!

Hey Jen - I posted on your other thread... You did good

Hey Suzanne - Welcome to I-Ville. Robby is the mayor and you have to have a job. Membership "dues" are telling us all three idiotic things that you've done that aren't affair related...

If I missed anyone... here's a big "HI" to everyone I missed!!! Hope you're all having a great evening/early morning/day where ever you are!

I pray for the day that--well, that we are out of recovery and back to living--living to our fullest and the best we all can be to one another.

It must be my time of month--my emotions have been so extreme today. Don't know whether to cry, be angry, be alone...all I know, is that I wish I hadn't learned the hard way. But I did. And I', trying every day to show brown my girls and myself what a "real man" is.

*SIGH*

., still no mail. I know you've had some wine, but here it is again in caps: FITZIRISHCREAM@OPTONLINE.NET

Gotta go all. Not sure how much more my emotions can take tonight. But, at least it's ending on a positive note.

Nite all. (And susu, you're very welcome to visit Idiotville anytime. )

Okay, Wow, I didn't realize there were "dues" but I am sure I can come up with at least three idiotic things I have done. I actually posted one on another thread the other day. My brother was visiting me and when I took him to the airport to go home we stopped at Denny's for breakfast. He looked at me and said, "Did you know your shirt is on inside out?" I looked down and, sure enough!! So I went to the bathroom to put it right. I went into a stall, changed the shirt and came out and looked in the mirror. I did and double take and thought, "Why are there urinals in here?" Yep, I was in the men's restroom--in a very crowded restaurant. You should have seen the looks I got when I came out.

Let's see...Two nights ago I put water on for tea around 11:30 pm. The next morning around 8:00, my brother asked me if I had water on for tea. "Yeah" Well, the teapot didn't survive.

It's hard to think of a third incident that is non-affair related. The only other thing I can think of right now is when I killed my daughters' betta fish(es). I cleaned one bowl and refilled it. Five minutes later I looked and the fish was floating. But I had also cleaned the other daughter's fish bowl and it looked okay. A couple of minutes later it was dead too. Hmmmm, I still don't know how I managed that. I had done it numerous times before. But it really did make me feel idiotic. I guess that means I don't get the job of fish bowl cleaner in Idiotville

So can I be the belly button lint collector or is that position already taken?

Thanks all.

Suzanne

It was a nice place to visit so I guess I decided to emigrate. Such a nice break from the usual place of residence.

Take care all. So, do you have a Welcome Wagon lady?

Susutimes, you can be our belly button lint cleaner any time. It's the one job that's vacant funnily enough.

Susu, the whole thing about Idiotville is that we're idiots, but we're here for each other any time day or night. We're here for anyone in need.

What a day.

Gosh, just had "ahem" as well.

Rob and I are so good it's dangerous. I mean good "recovered". (blushing).

Thanks Jen,

I appreciate your insights so much. This site and the people on it have been a Godsend for me. I am going to try to get some sleep, something I have been not doing enough of lately.

I am so glad to read about your recovery. It gives me such a hope. Thank you for your openness.

Hey Suzanne - I think having your shirt on backwards, and then going into the men's room would count for two separate events... so the teapot and beta fish slaughter would give you a grand total of 4 idiodic things! Good Job!!! BTW, did you happen to put any de-chlorinator stuff in the water before you put the Beta's in there??? Most fish don't like plain old tap water with lots of chlorine in it... he he he...

Jen

Sure Jen... rub it in for those of us that have to wait a couple of months for SF... I'm glad that things ahem..."worked out" for you guys... Rob must be a really special guy...

Hey Bob -you'll be home on Sunday!!!! So we all expect to see lots of "ahem"s from you when you get back
