Was there ever any talk of a live chat room? I love the idea of real time chat for everyone here. Any thoughts?

Well Idiotville is as close to an actual chatroom as you can find here. But we talk about stupid stuff mostly.

That is the LAST thing this forum needs. It has already evovled into a chat room for certain posters who live here 24x7 and post on every "crisis" that befalls them. Whether it's a kid's sore throat or a broken down car. Someone's had a broken arm for almost three years now. Give me a break.

I feel it belittles the new people truly seeking good advice. Good natured banter and joking is excellent <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> We all need it!

Dr. Harley intended this to be a place of calm if I understand him correctly.

It disturbs me that in certain forums the people with thousands of posts and years in these forums will respond to another "old timer" on a trivial subject when a "newbie" that is hurting is ignored.

It wasn't that way when I joined.

This is turning into a chat room.
