I watched some of her interview with Matt Lauer and I also watched her last night on Fox News with Sean Hannity.

I'm not really sure what to think of the whole thing. It just makes me sad. All of this makes me sad; all of this destruction, pain and deceipt.

I simply don't understand all this sometimes, how someone can do such horrible things, let alone killing pregnant women and innocent babies.

I also watched the Andrea Yates Story last night and it makes me sick. This woman drowned seven children... I would love to have a baby and it makes me physically ill when I see how some people treat their own flesh and blood. There are people/women out there who cannot have children or are having trouble conceiving and they would do anything to give a beautiful life to a little child and then there are people who just take away the most precious thing that God has given us without a blink in the eye.

Today is a rough rough day for me, as you can probably tell, but thankfully it has nothing to do with hubby...

It makes me sick. She protests to be so innocent, yet she is gaining monetarily by Laci Peterson's murder. Her father was on every talk show prior to the trial saying Amber wanted to see justice served and would never attempt to profit from such a horrendous crime. Ick.I knew it wouldn't amount to much.The worst was when she said that she felt Laci was speaking through her.As if.If I were Laci's mother I would be really upset at that statement.

Betrayed,It's true,I do think she is making the rounds to garner sympathy and make some money,if she wasn't she would donate the money to a local women's shelter or to Laci's family.I do appreciate that she came forward to the police after finding out that Peterson was married but that may have been circumstancial(a death),not by any moral fiber of her own had Laci NOT been murdered.I guess we will never know for sure.

Something that struck me was when they aired Scott Peterson being interviewed by Barbara Walters:

Barbara asked Scott: "c'mon, a near 8 month pregnant wife and she is calm when you told you're in an affair"

Scott's response: "yes, she was. No one knows what went on or what it was like but Lacey and I"

Well, yanno ... that is exactly what my ex-H said in an email to a friend of mine when she blasted him for having an affair when I was struggling with cancer. A cancer which resulted from his affairs/stds.

I saw Amber on "Oprah" today. I missed it the other day. I can't believe how many people are jumping on the bandwagon to crucify her. First of all, how do we know what she plans on doing with whatever money she makes from her book or circuit tour? For all we know she may donate it, 100% to charity! I'd never pre-judge her and think that she's doing it for a profit, and I'm a pretty realistic, harsh New Yorker!!

Secondly, I felt really sorry for her. Of course, not as sorry as I feel for Laci or Conor. But she seemed sincere. Scott seemed to play her for all she was worth. He lied to her from the beginning, and I really don't think that she knew that he was married.

Besides all of that, Amber did NOT have to put herself on the line and go to the police! She did NOT have to tape record over 100 hours of conversations, trying to entrap Scott. She did that out of guilt and pain for Laci. I don't believe they were "crocodile tears" she was crying. The whole thing is reprehensible and too horrendous to even imagine! This goes WAY further than an affair!

Here is MHO....I think Amber Frey should make as much $$$$ as she can! I think that Laci's mom thinks the same thing!!

If it were NOT for Amber Frey Scott Peterson would be out free right now.

That "girl" and she is a girl....Was just ONE of Scotts many many VICTIMS.

I say "KUDO'S" to Amber for coming forward when she did...ASAP after she heard that it was HIS wife who was missing. She did not have to do that!!

did you all hear that when Scott was arrested with the money he also had duct tape and a shovel and had down-loaded the directions to Ambers new home??? VERY SCARY! Scott Peterson was not just a WH he is a Psycho!!!

P.S I am also a BS and don't have the anger towards Amber like a lot of you do....so I do expect some 2X4's....but it's O.K!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

and those "crocodile tears"....I believe those were real! We are talking about a woman who on the 3rd day of knowing Scott Peterson let him pick her daughter up from school alone....Pretty sad.....Im sure she must feel terribly stupid.

I agree with Buttercup also. Amber Frey did not ask to be a part of all this. When she found out he was married she stepped up to the plate and did the right thing. Add to that, no matter how we all feel about the fact that she has two children out of wedlock, she does have two children. She has a responsibility to them, if nothing else, to take advantage of any financial opportunity that comes her way.

I've got to say, I watched a part of the Oprah show yesterday and my feelings were very conflicting.

I am still sorting them out but I don't feel as nasty as I did, which is the part I am having to think long and hard about.

I believe it does have something to do with how I view OP in general and not being able to see around that that caused me to have such strong feelings about Amber the other day. So, I am still thinking...but with a bit more compassion than before.

I want to hate her but I can't. She did the wrong thing and then did a really right thing. Will have to keep thinking about it.

Aw, c'mon guys . . . she is no worse, and no better, than any other unrepentent OW. She just got caught in a big, big way, and like any other unrepentent OW she is only sorry she got caught.

Why do I say "unrepentent?" Because she went straight out and got mixed up with another married man (that makes at least three.) He is the father of her second child. Another married man is the father of her first one.

She didn't do this when she found out he was married.

She did this when she realized her new boyfriend may very well have *killed his wife.*

And yes, she *did* have to go to the police because she needed their protection from her murdering boyfriend. They informed her that if she wanted him off the streets, they needed proof, and the only way to get that proof was for her to let them tape his phone calls.

So no, she didn't have any choice at all -- not unless she wanted to go to sleep every night knowing Scott Peterson was still walking free.

I thought that as soon as Amber found out that Scott was married, she began to pull back. I read exerps from her book and that's what I understood. After that, she contacted the police and started to cooperate with them. She didn't have to!

If it were not for her cooperation, Scott would have probably killed Amber and God knows who else he could have killed. Laci's family sounded thankful to Amber for some closure.

I'm not judging Amber on her history of hooking up with married men. As wrong as that may be, it's on HER conscious, not mine. I don't like to judge people for moral mistakes. I'm not God.

There's also something else I just don't understand.

While the police were still looking for Laci and while Scott was in contact with Amber, for her birthday which was also Laci's due date (which Amber was aware of), Scott sent Amber on a B-day present treasure hunt. And she went without informing the police.

I just don't understand that. She KNEW Scott was a primary suspect and under surveilance, but she trusted him?

That just doesn't add up for me. At that point in time she told Oprah that she was "helping" the police, yet she takes off following Scott's request without telling them. WHY?

No. The father of Amber's second child is a chiropractor who, last I heard, is now living with her. She hooked up with him right after she was done with Scotty. Amber won't say if this man was married/in a relationship or not. You do the math.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I have no sympathy or admiration for someone who only did the "right" thing when caught and in fear of her life, and then turned right around and got herself pregnant *again* by a man who was not committed to her but who was, as far as I can tell, committed to someone else. Amber does not seem to have learned anything at all.

There were reports in the paper that Laci's family had to ask the police to tell Amber to stop calling them. She was calling them way to often and it began to take a toll on Laci's mother.

And Amber went to a very expensive "celebrity" attorney. Why? She wanted to capitalize on her 15 minutes at the expense of a murdered woman. And Amber Frey is not a "girl", she's a woman that has a history of going after married men. She is a serial OW!!!

I'm just hanging on right now. Lots of problems/things going on within my family. I just can't believe it... I'm praying for my brother's health. That's all I want right now.
