Well the kids and I were having dinner and they were being so cute. All up in their chairs eating their dinner and being good... until the youngest decides he is done and throws his bowl (plastic) full of Mac and Cheese across the room- I could not help but laugh under my breath- not a huge deal- told him it was naughty.

After dinner we started our dance time and I was dancing around with the baby watching the other two shake their booties and listening to the best sound in the world- them giggleing- the sheer bliss of little ones in their happiest times. We are dancing around and Michael (the youngest) ever so gently puts both hands on my face and gives me the sweetest kiss with the ummmahh attached to the end. And then said "I wuv you mommy!" I loved it and swirled him around and he giggled again- I love that!!!!

which leads me to ask- What is other peoples sweetest sound in the world?

The unrestrained giggle of a child, for sure!!!

But I also love the crackle of the fire. I love to hear the rain on the windows, as long as i'm safe and cozy inside. I love to hear the ocean.

I love that very special time in the very early morning where you here only the occasional birdsong.

I am with you. My kids happiness (laugh, giggles, smiles, happy faces) is the best in the whole world. Most of the time I am by myself and just stare at them playing together and think I am the luckiest person in the whole world and I can not understand how WH is not here to enjoy or appreciate those moments that will not come back. I kind of feel bad for him missing those moments for being a WH and not paying attention to what should matter most. I am glad I do appreciate every second and get to enjoy it all even without him.

It's been a long time since I had my babies, but I remember how sweet were the sounds of their laughter.

I also love the sounds baby puppies and kittens make. Even baby pigs.

I love the sound of water in a river running over rocks, and splashing down a little waterfall. I love wind rustling through the leaves on the trees when it is quiet and you are alone. I love the sound of the ocean.

Thanks MIF? I do love them so. I call them that affectionately- They just leave a mess in their wake everywhere they go. I am very blessed to have them in my life. Thanks for reminding me MIF?

How are things for you today?

By far the sweetest sound in the world is hearing my son laugh and when he say he loves me. He's very sweet and always wants to snuggle...my favorite time!!!

I also love the sound of the ocean. It's very peaceful! When I'm having a hard time I close my eyes and imagine myself on the beach. It calms me down. My family spends a week at the beach every summer since I was 6. It's a big part of my life.

can some one tell me how to post a link to a picture? I would likt to post my youngest look now after his first haircut to show how grown up he looks (cute- but now he looks like a big boy and not my baby )

KMEJ,

I know you call them that affectinatley. I was just commenting on how adorable they look. How could something so adorable be so destructive? Trust me, I know. I have three little tornadoes myself.

I am doing fine, by the way, thanks for asking.

Go to http://www.imageshack.us/ and you can upload pics for free. It then gives you the link to use to view it.

KMEJ,

I too have kids, mine are all boys: 13, 5, and 3. They are the beacons that carry me through each day. I honestly don't know what I would be capable of, if it weren't for them!

Their laughter lights my soul. Funny, too, Hunter (3) will sometimes place his hands on either side of my face and say "things will get better". It blows my mind, like he knows to try and help me. However, MIL explained they are words to a song from Hi-5 and they listen to it almost daily. Doesn't matter, it makes me feel more at ease somehow.

I'm anxious to see if anyone responds about a picture link, I would love to show mine off too.

Thanks for an upbeat thread!!

I must be really slow because I can not figure out how to do it. I hear the humming of a Game boy- they must think they are being sneaky- put them to bed over an hour ago-what do these kids run on? I hate yelling at them, and that does not even seem to work. I do not understand why I can not get the middle one to stay in bed- I have tried so many things and he always gets up 5-6 times (on a good night)- then wakes up at 2 or 3 and crawls into bed with H and I.. Any tips?
