I burned my first CD ever last night and discovered it to be very theraputic. Real Networks Rhapsody has a 14 day free trial, and costs only $.79 per song burned to a CD. You can listen to whatever you want for free.

'Since I Fell For You' has over 60 different versions by various artists. Best version is a duet by Natalie Cole and Reba McIntyre on a compilation CD.

It's been quite a mood elevator.

I sang 'It Had to Be You' to my wife at our wedding, so I'm kind of sappy anyway. She seemed to like it then.

I like that "whistling" song from the Geico commercial with dogs riding in cars...

Sometimes singing "Gilligan's Island" in the car alone is helpful, too.

My all time favorite is still Classical music. It really calms me and takes me places that are soothing and relaxing.

My older daughter falls asleep to it everynight and it's playing almost everynight while my children do their homework,at dinnertime and just before bed.

On the other nights we don't have Classical on,my younger daughter loves to hear Jazz. It's fun.

Lets see...since D-Day I have purchased two IPods...a Shuffle and a Mini. I have not listed to music for quite awhile, but now everyday. It really helps me quiet the thoughts of the A in my head.

I am an IT manager for a very large financial company that is very busy this time of year (hint hint) and we are all Windows 2k/Server/XP pro based. I decided to change my home life and my interests and have gone all Apple. I set it up to stream music from my MP3 collection to my stereo in my living room.

You have to watch out what you listen to though. Some stuff can get very depressing. Alice in Chains comes to mind. But I listen to alot of Radiohead, Pixies, Soundgarden....etc.

I couldn't live without music.

If I couldn't close my eyes and fantacize that I was a rock star when I'm on my Gazelle I wouldn't even be able to workout. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

And my food just wouldn't taste as good if I couldn't listen to music when I was cooking.

Music helps keep the lonelies away.

I wish I had listened to classical more when my DD was little though, maybe now she would be inclined to listen to it like O'girls. She is kind of a rap girl(her dad's a rock musician so I think she is kind of a rocker too at heart), and so now I even like rap after listening to it so much around the house when she plays it.
