I was reading about this spy software and you can have anyone's emails, including replies, sent directly to your email acct.

It said it would even be downloaded to THEIR computer if they accept an email from us. (Which would be easy if we had the right subject line message.)

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS IS ABLE TO BE DETECTED?
LIKE IF THEY CHECKED PROGRAMS?

How do we know we are not being monitered at this very moment, ourselves?

Click below for more information.
It costs 99.95 to download.
I wonder if we could put as many email addresses as we want on it?

It sure seems quite SNOOPY! (But a good way to check up on WS!)
No one has privacy I guess.

Even some of us that have given out our email addresses, might now be monitered by someone if we accepted emails from them and thus downloaded this spyware.
KINDA FREAKY this modern technology!

Eblaster spyware software

Thanks for your reply, nikko.

I guess the way I see it, reading someone else's email sounds kinda fun.

But having someone monitering and reading every one of my emails---to and from---(or other Internet activity) does not sound so fun. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

Silly Girl,

I have purchased e-blaster, we have two computers and at the time my H was using one of them the majority of the time. Based on what I found in the history of the other one, I purchased it for that about 2 weeks later. It records keystrokes, e-mails, IM's, chatrooms. It doesn't record what websites they visit unless they type it in. You can have the e-mails forwarded, which we only happen if they open the e-mail. It does record the keystrokes, so you can get the passwords and "break into" their e-mail accounts. This is how I found out the the A was ongoing despite the alleged NC for a year.

I know that this company advertises that you can install it remotely, but I don't have any experience with that. If what you say was true about sending an e-mail, that would be something!

The way I understand it is you have to send it to the desired computer as an .exe file, and they have to click on that link to "install" it at the remote site. I don't know how you might do that. Perhaps there are intensive instructions that come with the software....

Hi Silly Girl 04,

I have also purchased it and I was concerned about various programs detecting it too. My h has quite a few programs on his computer that he uses regularly to check for viruses/spyware/etc.

I've written to their support a couple of times, asking how detectable it is. They replied quickly. I'm copying/pasting those emails for you:

Subject: eBlaster 5.0 Upgrade Question

Hello,

I just purchased the eBlaster 5.0 upgrade, to upgrade my 3.0 version. My main reason for doing so, is this:

"The new eBlaster 5.0 has employed new super-stealth anti-detection technology that NO PRODUCT ON THE MARKET DETECTS. If you are concerned about eBlaster being detected or disabled, it is suggested that you upgrade to eBlaster 5.0 as soon as possible."

I've searched for further details on "detection" & "disabling", but couldn't find anything.

VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION:
I would like to know, while using eBlaster version 3.0, should the user discover that eBlaster is on the machine, can the user, with "other programs", disable eBlaster 3.0? Or somehow get around it?

Now with eBlaster version 5.0, is the above possible? What makes version 5.0 better, in regards to "detection" & "disabling"?

Thank you so much,
Isleepwithacat

Hello,

If eBlaster is detected by a third party software then it can be disabled.

eBlaster 5 at this time is not detected by any third party software.

Subject: eBlaster 5.0 Upgrade Question

Hello,

Below is an email that I had sent on September 10th, with Shawn quickly replying. He was most helpful.

Now, I have a couple of other questions.

I downloaded eBlaster 5.0 to my desktop, and then I installed it. After installation, I deleted it from my desktop and my recycle bin.

VERY IMPORTANT QUESTIONS:

Please...

1) Are there other places on my drive that I need to go to, to delete any/all traces of eBlaster? I need to be thorough.
2) Does defragging effect eBlaster?
3) Is there any computer/drive maintenance that effects eBlaster?

Again, thank you so much.

Hello,

eBlaster installation is named differently on each install. eBlaster 5.0 is currently undetected. Defrag doesn’t affect eBlaster.

I think at one point, my h was suspicious, because he started reformating his computer ALL THE TIME! - every week, for weekS!

There was a very short period of time when I caught a couple of inappropriate conversations between h & another woman. Then came all the reformating and I haven't seen anything since. I *KNOW* there's stuff too!

So I also started keeping a record of h's habits & times. Definate patterns developed, with some strange behavior too.

I mean, one night h was upstairs online, then he came down and asked me if I wanted to watch a movie. I said sure. We were watching the movie, when right in the MIDDLE of the movie, he just gets up & says he's going to get online for awhile. HUH?! I noticed the time he did that, and it was the exact time in his pattern. Oh, and he loves to watch movies and it was a movie that we both had wanted to see.

I was shocked & hurt, but I didn't stop him or anything like that because I have eb installed on his computer. I thought for sure I'd get something. Guess what? Not a thing! I *SO* believe he knows how to get around it. But I don't know how.

When I first read your post, I just wanted to be helpful. Well, I still do, but now it's happened AGAIN!, and I am truly devestated and having an especially hard time with it.

When h came home from work tonight, he was acting way weird. Not long after, we had an argument. He coldly said things to me from out of the blue that just were not true, and they sounded more like things a woman would say.

Then he went upstairs and got on his computer. I was ok with this, knowing I'd check the reports after he went to bed, and possibly get something.

Well, I just now checked those reports, and guess what? There are NO reports at all! And what's worse, the last reports that came in were on 2/25/05!! I am just sick...

One of the things that he'd said to me that is not true, is that I don't listen to him, and since I don't listen to him, then he'll talk to someone who does care, or he'll find someone to talk to that does care. I can't remember his exact wording, but it was one of those. And now there are NO reports!!!!

He knows SO much about computers, and I know SO little. HOW IS HE DISABLING IT??????? And now, I wonder if somehow he un-installed it on his computer? Or maybe he reformated again?

You know, just having it on his computer helped me just a wee bit, even if he was disabling it at times. I think it helped because although I think he was disabling it, I still didn't know for a fact that he was disabling it. That tiny glimmer of hope. But now, nothing since 2/25/05?! Not much hope there...

I'm so sorry, I sure didn't mean to threadjack. Let me add a few more things for you...

shattered dreams is correct. There's more to it than just accepting an email from someone. Could you imagine how out of control it'd be if all they had to do was accept an email?

You have to send it as an .exe file, but you can name that ".exe file" whatever you want.

In my case, that would not get it. My h is way too computer savvy, while I am not. Is your h very computer savvy?

I originally purchased it because of the remote installation option, and to have emails sent to another email address.

As it turned out, after sending an ".exe file" to his email, I went & retrieved his email so that it would download with me, and not him. I did that because I think he would've been suspicious with the ".exe file" thingy, no matter what I named it. So it was pointless for me to use the remote installation.

I did use the option of sending reports to another email address. Somewhere I read where it would be non-detectable except for the fact that it sends the email reports to another address. It's when those emails get sent that it can possibly be detected. I don't know how true this is though, and I can't remember my source of info.

I've had to reinstall it so many times, due to his constant reformating. It's easy to install.
You purchase a license with it that is good for one computer. If you want to do more than one computer, you have to purchase a license for each one.

They say if you buy one license, and install it on more than one computer, they will de-activate it on all of them. I'm guessing they'd know it because you have to type in your license number?

Well, the very first time I installed it, I did use the remote installation. Now I have no idea how I did this, but, I ended up installing it on 3 different computers - mine, h's, and my parents - all at the same time! LOL It stayed that way for quite some time and they never de-activated it.

At the moment, it's installed on 2 computers, h & my parents. I truly do NOT know how I did that, and I don't know how to get it off my parents computer. And again, it hasn't been de-activated.

I also wonder if I'm being monitored. A while back I posted a thread on how I can't post freely because I don't know if I'm being monitored. Well, if I am, he's going to read this. And not only that, he'd know what I'm doing, and how to access it. Maybe that's why the last reports were on 2/25/05?

I just do NOT know how to detect if I am being monitored!! I've spent LOTS of hours trying to find out, to no avail. I even considered having a friend pose as a man and send me sexy emails. I thought that might lead him to confront me, thus, I would know if I were being monitored. I haven't done it though.

I don't know if I've helped or confused, but I hope I've helped.

Hi nabohio...

"I have purchased e-blaster, we have two computers and at the time my H was using one of them the majority of the time."

Are your computers networked?

We have 3 networked in our home, h's upstairs, mine main floor, son's downstairs.

Do you know if I could install it on h's & mine with only one license? I mean, since they're networked, it's only one ISP account, but 2 machines.

But then I do have it on 2 computers right now, with 2 different ISP accounts, and haven't been de-activated.

Am I making any sense? I just don't know what to do anymore...
