Since w is staying a few days with some family friends about 2 hrs away and I have to travel to a staff meeting 4 hrs away in the opposite direction for the next 3, I decided to sent her some yellow roses and a note telling her I am thinking of her.
I hope I'm not pushing things but I have to start sometime!
Now if I can only keep from getting fired as part of the meeting is a quarterly production review and I have been a little distracted for the pat 4 months. My boss hasn't said anything, but they get hung up on raw numbers and I don't think there is room for explaination for all the crap I've been thru this summer.
Wish me luck !

Good start, RWD! Be patient and open to a few different responses to your attempt to deposit love units. Don't let the response keep you from trying again if it's not the response your were looking for.

PS. Sending Roses to her work is really a great thing - because all her co-workers can comment about what a wonderful husband she has/or how he must care about you.... A little extra in the lovebank?
Here's one for you. Had a meeting in town last night. On my way home I stopped at Long John Silver's, a place that makes me gag at the sight or it, but my H's favorite fast food. I ordered him a dozen hush puppies, brought them home to him. I have never seen so much gratitude for little geasy balls of bread! He was truly touched! And it felt SO GOOD to do something nice for him. Not roses, I know... but I just wanted to share since we were on the subject.
