left work early to spend time w/ds since I've worked one helluva schedule this week. we got home and voila! he wanted to watch movie MiB 2.

And within five minutes of the movie beginning, I realized something...WE HERE ARE THE REAL DEAL...WE'RE THE REAL MIB...

they give a definition of Men In black in the movie...it's this "We're a top secret organization of agents who monitor the ACTIONS OF EXTRATERRESTERIALS HERE ON EARTH."

and yes in the movie, the aliens are bad and good...mostly bad though. they lie, cheat, steal, and the MIB have to use coercion, spying, and whatever method of alien destruction available to them to bring em' down.

It's hilarious. The MIB actually have these walkie talkie things that TRANSLATE THE ALIEN LANGUAGE INTO ENGLISH...wow! we really need those.

and sadly, the part about when agent J says to agent K "I understand why you stare at the stars. It's as though YOU KNOW MORE ABOUT WHAT'S HAPPENING OUT THERE THAN YOU KNOW ABOUT WHAT'S GOIN' ON HERE." sadly, I fully understand my xalien. I get his whole stint on the mothership completely. and I can now converse freely with the aliens. I can speak their rudimentary languages.
