What is vocational rehabilitation?

My son has an appointment tomorrow. I know they help with getting a job but what else do they do?

i think in Texas they can help with costs of education if you are changing types of job due to injury. They can help with cost of supplies for you to do a job, etc.

not exactly sure though.
