That is exactly what I was thinking. If you are genuine, send her a note with a check in the mail. States something like this:

I'm sorry.
I know this won't make up much, but, I hope it shows you I'm genuine in my apology.
And sign her a check for... oh, $5,000-10,000 . Or whatever monetary level would be appropriate for her to feel you suffered a serious hit.

Interesting.

The heck with money she may reply, instead of money she may ask to sleep with your husband just to see if you really want to help make it up to her.

Oh my gawd, that's the funniest thing I read today! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Honeygirl,

I'm sure you're sincere just naive as to the damage that has been done to another, and their family.

You really need to consider leaving this woman alone. She doesn't need ANY contact from you much less your apology. Her life needs to have a 100% complete and PERMANENT disconnect from you. Period. Anything you send will not only be painful for her but will be seen as an attempt to assuage your guilt and frankly - it isn't about you at that level.

Move on with fixing you. She doesn't probably care if you're sorry or not. She would probably appreciate NOT receiving anything that reminds her of you. Focus your apologies and energy on your M.

Be well.
