How come time seems to come to an almost complete stop when you're enduring a WS's affair? If Einstein were alive today I think he'd use this fact as a postulate of relativity.

The affair clock runs slow and ticks away painfully.

It sure went slow for me. I found out about affair while OW's husband was in Iraq. I waited 3 months till he got back to expose to him. It seemed like FOREVER.

He mentioned that OW had done this before and the affair lasted 6 months. That seemed like an eternity. I spent days and days waiting.

Now it has been 3 and a half years, and the affair seems to be over. I'm done too.

I think time creeps when you are hurting, regardless of the cause. Physical or emotional. This is the most painful hurt of my life and yes, this year seems like a lifetime.
