Saw a couple posts where you can get TXT records from Sprint. I've looked into it, and cannot find a way to do it. Anyone know?

we have cingular. when the bill comes in it tells what #'s you have sent texts to and received from. it does not show the messages. i can also access mine online.
i would think you could access sprint online as well. you'd just need your account number probably.

i also would not be above going to your nearest sprint store and asking the worker to print out the text records (assuming you are on the account)

good luck!

I have talked to Sprint, and they say there isn't anyway to view the actual txt logs.

Confused - I'm in the same boat! I pay all the bills and after reviewing the most recent Cingular I noticed that it was more than twice what it normally should be. After I reviewed it in detail I noticed there were over 900 text messages done in one billing period! That's insane.

Of course, about 90% were to one number so that's how I new something fishy was going on. I was able to check her voice mail because I new the password. There were two messages from a girl with a British accent. Very sexy voice I must say though. All the details are in my thread. Very interesting story. I left a link to it in your original thread about the affair, so check it out.

It is very painful when you first experience something like this. When I first heard those messages, I almost dropped to my knees. For almost two weeks I could barely eat. I just felt sick. But with therapy and a lot of research on this site as well as others, I feel much better and confident.

Make sure you have a lot of support from family and friends. If you're in therapy that's great, but many times you will just need someone to talk to that can be immediately avaialble. It helps just to let it all out occasionally.

Oh and yeah - Cingular will not give you the actual content of the text messages other than what's on the bill. It's a privacy issue. Although the police and FBI can get access to it whenever a crime was committed. So, if you know any friends in law enforcement..... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I have become somewhat of a cell phone expert because of my wife and her text messages. My wife would always delete her text messages and the only way I could find out what was going on was to view “recent messages.” It is not perfect because it doesn’t show all messages or who they were sent to but you can see what was written for the past 10 or so messages. You can view these even when your spouse deletes the actual message.

To view recent messages you need to have access to your spouse’s phone. Send yourself a text message from his/her phone. I have a “mode” button. When typing a message select the mode button and then select “recent messages”. You can then view recently sent messages. I forward the incrementing ones to my cell phone as “proof.”

Hope that helps,

Buddy

I have a Sanyo RL-7300. My service provider is Sprint. There is a button on the very top right corner. When you are sending a text message select this button and you will be able to see recent messages. Below is a link to an image of what my phone looks like.

Remember you have to be in the process of typing a text message (at least that is how it works for me).

Hope this helps!
