I don't like using the X as the go-between for something like this, but my DD says she enjoys this interaction with me. I suspect that she'll grow weary of it when the novelty wears off. Anyway, just sort of thinking out loud. No one here is forced comment on it if they don't want to. My starting point.

I can imagine it would. There are a lot of things that feel weird the first few years of divorce. Those of us who have been divorced for a while are used to it.
