Let's hope your moon, under those circumstances then, was peaceful, placid, and calm, unroiled by moisture, nor enveloped in vaporous cloud formations, or emitting thundering roars!! :MrEEk:

For most women, this would not be an anticipatory thing. They ordinarily wait to be torn until the baby is actually emerging from a personal orifice. At least that's been MY experience! rotflmao Howdy, Pep. I'm often pleasantly reminded of you, too.

Pep, it should make you think more about Mom's absence, lol, since when she's there, tearing is NOT allowed! laugh

Me too me too!

The Princess finked out on her camping trip this weekend, because I wasn't going. Apparently the subject was sensitive, since this afternoon she shrewishly berated me for "rubbing her nose in it".

What had I done? Thoughtlessly and free of malice, I had called after her and the Dervish as they got into their Auntie's car, "Bye guys, I'll see you this afternoon."

I informed mine, this morning, that her sulking seemed sort of passive aggressive. She didn't take that well. :twobyfour:

My Princess is now her husbands problem... ah I mean joy ... of course I do grin thats it JOY JOY JOY lol rotflmao

well most of the time.

The girls are learning some very sad songs for the next concert .. mummy had a cry blush

My youngest son came home today
His friends marched with him all the way
The fife and drum beat out the time
While in his box of polished pine
Like dead meat on a butcher's tray
My youngest son same home today

My youngest son was a fine young man
With a wife, a daughter and two sons
And a man he would have lived and died
Till by a bullet sanctified
Now he's a saint or so they say
They brought their young saint home today

An desert sky looks down and weeps
Upon the narrow streets
At children's blood in gutters spilled
In dreams of glory unfulfilled
As part of freedom's price to pay
My youngest son came home today

My youngest son came home today
His friends marched with him all the way
The pipe and drum beat out the time
While in his box of polished pine
Like dead meat on a butcher's tray
My youngest son came home today
And this time he's here to stay

************************

He don't know how to lie
Or undermine you
He don't know how to steal
How to deal or deceive
So leave him alone, set him free
Cause he's speaking with the angel
That only he can see

You say he's so helpless
Well what about you
You don't pull the strings
Don't you know anything
Just leave him alone, let him be
Cause he's speaking with the angel
That only he can see

Would you teach him about heaven
Would you show him how to love the earth
Would you poison him with prejudice
From the moment of his birth

He in the name of love
He in the blood of the lamb
He that never lays blame
He don't even know his name
Just leave him alone, let him be
Cause he's speaking with the angel
Speaking with the angel
The very one that spoke to you and me
Oh do you remember?

I've let some bread rise overnight. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have a good Italian bread recipe. Makes two crusty, dense loaves. We love the stuff. Want me to post the recipe?

BTW, it only rises 2 hours - in the refrigerator.

I'll dig it out later and post it for you. My children love it. My xh liked it a lot. It's a very popular item.

Right now, I've got to get ready for a breakfast at church and I don't feel like going.

Someone we know made big news yesterday by being arrested. We told the children last night to avoid any shocked hearing about it at church today. They all have troubles with dishonesty and theft, and we talked (yet again) about how when you're little and get in trouble your consequences are comparatively small, but when a grownup does things like that, the consequences are much bigger. The Dervish was very quiet for much of it, and after awhile his eyes started to get red. He claimed it was because he was yawning right next to the chopped-up onions, but I beg leave to doubt THAT story, too!

If that's the case, I needed to have had ONIONS sitting all around my house for MY DERVISH..would have saved LOTS of MONEY...he hasn't done anything MAJOR....BUT....this and that sigh

I used to bake bread...... made it all by hand ...... then my mum gave us her bread making machine because she couldn't be bothered doing it any more. .... of course the new French bakery that opened up about 100m away didn't have anything to do with it,... no of course not... smile anyway once I got that wonderful machine I measure out the flour, add water and yeast put the timer on and 'ding ding ding' alarms go off and we have a half loaf crisp as ever and yum yum, laugh

hey the girls are doing a concert right as we type!! for Telethon 24 hours of free tv coverage to raise money for the Princess Margaret Hospital. I decided to let Jonny.. his mate.. and Aussie go to see our Princesses lol, besides they have a whole load of soldiers there on R & R and things get rowdy crazy and they drink & drink & drink then go to the pubs. Those 3 will feel right at home.

besides she will get interviewed again and then maybe I'll find out what she is going to do next  grin naughty

one of Jonnys mates is staying with us from is unit. He was a bit nervous staying with the 'old man' but has relaxed into the noisy neighbourhood disturbing clan. 'Steel' needs mothering stickout . trust me ... really he does ... grin
