Please send your prayers to the families of the 4 fallen Police Officers of Oakland police department. They were gunned down last week. The memorial service is being held at warrior arena today.
If it were not for there bravery and sacrifice then a very dangerous man would be still at large.

I will keep them in my prayers and my heart for a way to get through such a tragic and hard time.
May G-d keep them under his wings especially time as they move through this grieving time.

It was a very beautiful ceremony.....the crowd over flowed into the stadium seating in support. All of Oakland PD attendad....other departments stepped up to cover the areas needing police coverage for the day.
For my sister and I the most tear jerking moment came when the flag and badge were presented to the last widow....her 3 year old then took her fathers badge and held it in her hands.....We both started bawling.

I hate hearing about stories like this. My WH is a police officer and even though he and I might be having some problems, I still respect him for what he chooses to do as a profession. Anyone who puts their life in danger to help others has my respect. I feel for their families and loved ones and will keep them in my prayers.
