In Plan B.

WH spends time with younger kids but teen dd (who has gone from anger to resignation) misses her dad and wants to spend more time with him.

Should I have my IM ask WH to spend more time with her or encourage dd to tell her father herself?

I would leave it up to dd to talk to her dad. She may be disappointed though because most cheaters completely neglect their kids.

She needs to tell him. She can TM him with...."dad, I'd like to see you on thurs. evening, does that work for you?".....

He needs to step up as a parent and you should not get into the middle of it....(even though as a mother that is hard..... hug)

I agree w/ the others..encourage her to speak up for herself.

Learning to ask for what she wants is a very good thing.

In addition to maintaining your Plan B, a teenager needs to learn how to facilitate things on their own (i.e. make phone calls or appointments). This is a valuable opportunity for her.

Plus, the request coming straight from your daughter may pierce his heart and open his eyes, much more than a request from the BW through the IM. pray pray
