Hi Chris!

Since everyone just about ignored your question: what does it mean to be prone to an EA?

..lemme clear that one up for ya:
"PRONE" , and well as SUPINE , obviously refer to a PA, rather than an EA. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Hope a sense of humour still has some value

Hehe....I remember that question and I didn't ignore it!

I said that someone who has already had an EA or a PA might be PRONE to having another!

Prone:
Having a tendency; inclined

I think the Harley principles are based on this very idea---if your spouse has had one affair, they're likely to have another!

I would take that to mean that you or your spouse has had an EA in the past. If you're having problems in your relationship, you might have another if the circumstances are right.
I tend to agree with Diamonzz, it's probably harmless to contact a woman poster through email,

Getting back to the subject, then it’s okay to email if you have not had affairs?

Even after everything you have read in these forums?

Is it ok to email if you haven't had affairs?

I think that's one of those really personal questions.

How deeply do you trust each other? If my SO wanted to email another person on this message board, it wouldn't bother me, BUT because of type of relationship we have, emails wouldn't be "private". I'd have the ability to see the emails at any time and he would see mine, as well.

I don't have to "insist" on him showing me his emails, there's just no problem with me seeing them. Neither one of us have anything to hide. It would be very different, however, if either one of us had ever had an affair...

As bad as my marriage was, my H never kept things like email private, either. I never suspected that he was cheating because he never tried to hide anything...

This is *MY* opinion...I'm sure that others feel differently on this subject....
