Mel,
It is ground hogs day. He is still trying to "fix" things and is a stew because she has not called the Harleys. I am pondering if it is worth getting into it with him or not. I am thinking...NOT.

Mel, I hear ya about Groundhogs Day...Im living it  I am trying my best to give her a chance to show me something. I guess I'm not sure why she would dump her BF if she wasnt serious about working on things? Maybe its the kids she misses, the house, the comfort, security, etc. But I do think Dr Harley might be able to help her, if she is on board with his plan. So I feel like I'm in a tough situation. Progress has been made, so I dont want to tell her to get lost and undo the positives. But at the same time I need to see more. I cant tell her what to do or control her. My thought is to give it a few days and then explain to her that the ONLY way this will work is if she counsels with Dr Harley and unless she FOLLOWS through on it, then we are wasting each others time and energy.

I am trying my best to give her a chance to show me something. Quit trying your best. She's the one who needs to try, not you. The reason things are not working out is because you are trying to do what only she can do. The reason she has not shown you something is not because you haven't given her a chance to show you. She's not waiting for you to give her a chance. You giving her a chance is not what's missing. Quit trying. She has to try. If she were to try, she would try whether you "give her a chance" or not.

Looks hilarious!
My favorite part of Christmas Do-Over was when the guy bought his son a Christmas present, carelessly telling the clerk, "Just wrap up whatever that person just got," then when his son opened the gift, it was a hot pink EZ Bake Oven.
