I didn't get the impression that you moped around all the time. My impression was that your life was moving along and then you were surprised by the feelings you had over the news of your ex's upcoming affairage. I winced when you posted about it...lol...because I don't want to feel any of that when my turn comes.

I am rather happy to hear that the feelings were fleeting and disappearing after two days.

I suppose that like anything else we've had to adjust to, we'll adjust to these changes as well.

Thanks for answering my question STB4. smile

After a 4 yr FR, it became CLEAR to me of what you can look for in a FR. And that is the absence of POJA, and/or if your spouse tramples on your boundaries. If someone is not willing to do POJA with you, and they don't respect your boundaries, imo, the relationship is doomed.

MJ yea... it was out of the blue. i've only seen my xh once in the last two years and that was because DD was in the ER.

No i liked the questions. I was surprised honestly that it affected me... but i was also pleasantly surprised it got better as fast as it did. Do i still not like the idea of having her intertwined in my life.... ABSOLUTELY NOT! I will have to deal with it as it comes and my support won't let me go any place that he or she might be, without out one or more of them coming along.

LOVE MY FRIENDS and PSUEDOFAMILY!!!

I wouldn't want to be in the company of a pair of liars either. It'd be nice if you NEVER have to see them, ever again.
