Hey guys,
I've posted this in the D/D board, but it's a good idea for everyone.
I've figured out a way how you can give a quick re-cap of your story every time you post.
Summarize a very short version of your story (like 5-6 lines) and put it in the "Signature" field of your profile. Things to include:
Age / Gender / Location / Personality Type
Marriage history / Kid info
D-Day info / OP info
Current status of relationship
Etc.
Try to keep it short and sweet. So far it's been really helpful. Give it a try!
Aloha,
Ms.O

Hi guys,
Hey it's okay if the story is a bit more than 5 lines...that's just a guideline to help keep it kinda short.
So here's how you do it (ConfusedMom and Orchid):
1) Click on the "my profile" link at the top of this page.
2) On the next page, click on the "View/Update Profile" button (you gotta be logged in)
3) On the next page, go the "Signature" field and type away. Remember, try to keep it as short as possible...combine like info into one-liners if applicable.
4) Then hit the "Update Profile" button.
The next time you make a post your "new and improved" signature will show up, and every time you post thereafter. (If you don't want it to show on a specific post, you have the option to turn "Show my signature" off each time you post.)
You can test it on this page if you need to.
Aloha,

But now some people are getting signature lines which are EXTREMELY long.
Anything longer than 5 lines is considered bad netiquette. Short & to the point please.

I tried anyhow...
