My nephew Jesse has bipolar disorder (aka manic-depressive) and is having a manic episode now. Left after Christmas to go back home, never arrived there, left his car & flew somewhere else. Did call my sister & is apparently making partial sense. They are very worried about him, and I would apprciate any prayers for him & his family.
Thanks--
Kathi

kam6318,
I'm praying for you, your nephew & family.
My prayer is that he will have the medical
support, Dr.- medication he needs, & his family to rally around him-for help through his many mood swings/changes. I pray that God will touch him with a healing hand and that there will be stability in him so that it can be managed. Arrgghhhh...
Update...He is in the midst of a manic episode and apparently under some rather serious paranoid delusions at present.
Anyway, he WAS headed for a flight home from LA, but became agitated and "bolted" from the friends taking him to the gate, did not board the airplane and was missing for hours with police and mental advocacy response unit searching for him.
Just got an update this am...The LAPD called...he was picked up, barefoot & somewhat less than rational, and is now in a mental unit, being evaluated by a pyschiatrist. At this point my sister is not quite sure what exactly happened, or when he will be able to return home, but at least he is safe!
Still gratefully accepting your prayers--

Kathi

[This message has been edited by kam6318 (edited January 03, 2001).]
