"Because I Said Forever"

It is a book about staying even when the M isn't what you expected. It is written from the wife point of view. The author's husband actually was alcoholic, but much of it applies to any marital issue.

BGentle,

Wow, I thought I was the only one who knew of that book! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> I'd highly recommend it to any woman in a difficult marriage. There's another one that's good also. It's called "How to Act Right When Your Husband Acts Wrong" by Leslie Vernick and also "The Excellent Wife" by Martha Peace which addresses loving a difficult-to-love man. All of these women are very godly woman and it is good to view their books as a type of mentoring.

God bless!

Hm, I have "How to Act Right.." but I haven't heard of the other one.

BTW, I'm going to bed now - the kids have school tomorrow.

I think I will check that book out. Haven't heard of it, but it sounds like it may be beneficial for me to read, being married to an alcoholic that I choose to stay with. Thanks!
