Anyone out there have creative ideas for writing a love letter? Things to say, and what to put it on? I write letters to my H, but it gets to be old hat after awhile...

There is a great website www.lovingyou.com it gives all kinds of great ideas - like laminating your love notes at the local kinkos and putting them on the shower floor. They have lots of other creative ideas.

My wife asked me the other day why I loved her. We have been having quite a few problems lately and no longer live together, but are trying to work things out. When she asked me, I simply asked her if she would believe me if I told her, and she said no.
On Valentine's Day, I was thinking about that little conversation. And for some silly reason the thought of why one likes something like a chocolate rasberry mocha came to mind. Its not just because of the chocolate. Its not just because of the rasberry or even because of the coffee or milk in it. It is all of those blended together into one cup. That is what makes it so good. So, then I sat down and wrote her a letter stating why I loved her. And before I knew it, I had listed 51 different things about her that makes me love her. I am sure that she would have never thought that I love the fact that she sleeps with her mouth just barely open enough to show her top teeth attractive, but its one of the many things that makes me love her. Give that a try and see if something like that works.

My husband and I have been married for almost 18 years. The most thoughtful and romantic gift he ever gave me was for our 15th wedding anniv.

He printed several pictures of us through the years and put them together with red ribbon tied in a bow through two punch holes at the top. The cover was a picture of our names written in a heart in the sand from a recent vacation to Maine. He titled the book 15 Reasons I love YOu. Each of the following pictures had a different reason typed on to it. He sent this to work with a dozen red roses.

A cherished memory.
