The Lord really spoke me through this message, right when I needed to hear it. <P> <B>THE LORD COMFORTS US</B><P> "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4<P>There are many of you who need to feel the presence of the Lord. Some of you are facing a court hearing soon, some of you have had to sign papers that you do not agree with, some of you are hurting because you do not see your children enough and many of you feel<BR>like your heart is going to break in two.<P>Lord, comfort your children tonight as only You can. Amen.<P>"He heals the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds." Psalm 147:3 <P>I wish I could write to each one of you and tell you to "hold on." Don't give up, God hears your prayers and understands all your pain and hurts. He understands your discouragement, your doubts and your fears.<P> "Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit." Psalm 147:5<P>Put all your hope in your Lord God. He will never fail you. Just believe in Him and His precepts. <BR> <BR> "The Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love." Psalm 147:11 <P>May you always praise the Lord in the midst of any trials. Praise defeats the enemy.<P> "Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? <BR> Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God." Psalm 42:11<P>God will comfort you and give you hope!<P> "Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hears to him, for God is our refuge." Psalm 62:5-8<P>Our word for you in this mid-week is that God is not far away. He is right there with you, in that lonely home. He is looking at those<BR>past due bills with you. Let Him bear those horrible words that you hear. The Lord is right in the midst of that terrible job situation. He is there when the physician brings bad news. God knows what is in that letter from the lawyer.
