hI nb,
i see your point, well taken. But dont necessarily agree. I am not at all sure that the light of a soul is ever extinguished.
I am not in a good debate modd at this point-way too much bologne surrounding me this week. But remind me again soon and I will try to explain what I mean without being offensive!
Again, even though the job is a funny shift, that might work too! cl

Give yourself a break Sheryl. You're in Canada and it's January. I hereby give you permission to be tired, rest, and read fiction. Throw in some hot tea and hot bubble baths for good measure.

Hey Sheryl,
When I was living in Finland the winter was always the hardest!
I ended up going to a tanning both two to three times a day. I found my body needed the fake sun. You might be the same...I think it is called seasonal depression. Even here in New Hampshire I get tired and moody durring the winter. It helps to get out while the sun is going.
Hang in there. Summer will be here soon.

Hi cl, LH and Paha,
First, yes, I have SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) so Paha, you're right on with your armchair diagnosis! I'm on meds (Zoloft) but frankly, I'm not a big believer in meds... I'd rather work through this without them. But, alas, I can't seem to even funtion to work through it at all without them.
Ya know, I told a friend yesterday that I am just mindnumbingly unhappy and lonely... it seems that there is no way out of this... I am deeply, deeply in love with my H, but the rest of this life sux. It isn't anyone's fault, per se... well, except mine.
My al-anon sponsor (online group) told me that when I say things like I just said, it's a way of making my ego bigger... I must think I'm very important... when in reality my life is just one of a billion souls on this planet... not that special at all. And I'm not saying that as a "woe is me" statement... rather it is a simple statement of fact.

WELCOME HOME, TnT!
I'm going to CA on the 8th of Feb!!! I can HARDLY WAIT. I get to see AND HOLD my BABIES (old people that they are!! ).
I do have a little snafu with the ex, and maybe I'll write about it later. I suspect he'll make this visit difficult for me... from an emotional standpoint, that is. Sigh.

Hi Sheryl,

Have fun with your children. When you go to CA where do you stay? I hope not with David. Maybe just try and aviod David or come up with a list of topics that you will and will not talk about and stick to that. Take charge of the conversation and if it diverts from the matter at hand just bring it back to the topic.
I am praying for you!!!
