Just a quick hi from LIZ.
We are now 2 years and 8 months in recovery from my formerly wayward husband's 14 month affair.
We are deeply in love, although we both hate that expression, with it's connotations of butterflies and stupid decisions.
Recently, my husband has had the opportunity to minister to two men because of his own infidelity. One of these men is our senior pastor, who has just resigned after publicly confessing to infidelity.
Another man at his office was beginning an affair and stopped it when my husband spoke with him. In fact, he thanked my husband for confronting him, several months after they talked.
I am no longer in pain over the affair AT ALL, despite the magnitude of his offenses back then.
I just want to remind you all that God works all things, even our painful times, TO HIS PURPOSE.
I never would have expected this to be of benefit to anyone else.
God is a very funny guy.
hugs to all,
lizpearl

Thanks for the hope, I think we are only about 10 months into this, so there is hope even though his A is continuing (I think weakening though)
