Okay, from what I've read on the "Infidelity" board (not to mention my own experience), this seems like a no-brainer, but just to make it official: how many of these affairs (emotional or sexual) were/are with co-workers? Of these, how many involve business-related travel together? For the first time in my life, I'd like to see equal rights repealed...
[This message has been edited by quandry (edited January 27, 2000).]

My H affair was with someone that he worked with over the phone. She did not work in the building but they would have to talk to each other several times a day to check up on the underwriting. Then he finally met her when they had to smooze with them. Love at first sight. YUK They never went on business related travel but he did call her.

My H's mistress *was* employed at the same company as my H. They really didn't work together, though. She sought him out. And from what I have been told, hung all over him despite there being no need for her to interact with him at all.
Fingers Crossed

She was a (kind of) friend whom we had met recently. Her and her husband did some stuff with us all summer! He did have a brief something with someone he worked with years ago though.

Yes, the Twinky is a co-worker/employee of my H. Bartender of all things... they worked closing shifts together, and then sit in the bar and drink and "talk".
My EA was with an old frind from college... we talked online, all those nights when H was "talking" and drinking with the Twinky.
Butterfly
------------------
There are deep sorrows and killing cares in life, but the encouragement and love of friends were given us to make all difficulties bearable.
-- John Oliver Holmes
The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference.
-- Elie Wiesel

Petunia's affair was with an ex-co-worker. They worked together and became friends. They kept in touch after he got fired for -- get this -- having sex with a nurse aide on the job.
She would make excuses to go see him at his new job, his apartment, or where ever. Sure am glad I caught her when I did.
------------------
/// Lone Star * ///

Emotional something (maybe more?) with a co-worker 3-5 years ago.
Emotional something (maybe more?) with a freing of best friends boyfriend 2 years ago.
Full blown affair with a guy from the gym where she works out revealed in December.
Definitly a pattern of behavior here and proximity plays a large part. heck we started dating after being in school together and being co-workers.
Makes me wonder how I can ever trust again. Can't trust her at work, can't trust her athome.
