Very happy birthday greetings Cerri! What is this now, birthday #4000 or #5000?

Hope you have a joyous birthday and that maybe Cerrish will have a little surprise or two in store for you?

Best wishes through the next year.

Well, it's hard to keep track when you get this old - but I think it's something 3442.

We are off for a day of I don't know what but I'm sure it will be fun. Cerrish took the day off and has things planned.

Tonight we are taking kids to see the Marshall Field's holiday display and then going to the Holidazzle parade downtown. And then by that time they should all be whining and fighting and we'll regret leaving the house and we'll have a very difficult dinner out somewhere. LOL That's the real cause of aging - kids, not time.

Maybe the aging process is a function of the NUMBER of kids that you have. Probably an exponential relationship. Some of us only have one child, which explains how we stay so young.

Wow, C’s birthday again. It seems like just yesterday that we were celebrating your 45th. Oh just kidding.

Wishing you all the best that life can provide. And many more years of horsing around, and being young at heart. (And occassions of acting like a child too. )

P

(Almost forgot who I was, since it’s been so long since I’ve been on this board. Took me a while to remember my password. Maybe I am getting old!)

That explains a lot, we have 8 kids.

Happy Birthday, and many happy returns - in fact, I hope they are all happy ones.

Happy Birthday Cerri,

P, I think I got this thang figured out. If you have more birthdays more often you will look younger. Since it seems like just a few months ago that she had her's it explains alot. Have a B-day every six months and when you are 90, people will be saying you look remarkably young for you age, I would swear you don't look a day over 45.

So Cerri is this what you are pulling on us?? OR is this something only a witch can pull off?

In any case, have a very happy birthday.

Yo, Cerri, have a truly groovy birthday! Here's Rob Brezsny's horoscope (www.freewillastrology.com) for you for this week:

"Master astrologer Steven Forrest believes you Sagittarians often thrive on learning things the hard way. I agree. Here are my three explanations of why this is so. 1. One of your main tasks in life is to cultivate wisdom, and you'll never accomplish that if everything comes too easily for you. 2. To maintain your mental hygiene, you need to push regularly into the unknown, where the rules for success are as yet unwritten. 3. You are sometimes susceptible to being dogmatic, which can interfere with your ability to discern simple, obvious, up-to-the-minute truths. To shock you out of your tunnel vision, your higher self needs to trick you into making interesting mistakes."

And now we know why it is that Cerri's life is never, ever dull or quiet.

Ok, I checked in looking for the "what I got for my birthday" post. New sports car (I remember when she got the red one), cauldron, or just a nice quiet evening with no referreeing required. Fess up blondie. Then I gotta run before "the addiction" sets back in.

I'd agree to disagree with this. I have 4 children (2 teens). I don't have time to grow old. I only was stopped being asked for ID at the liquor store last year and I'm almost 40. However, people still try to tell me I'm 21.

Happy BDay Cerri however old/young you are!!! YEA!!!!

Hey P

Ok - I've been avoiding MB all day since I get sucked in by the addiction and don't get any work done, but.....

P:Actually, I WILL be 45 yrs old at the end of this month. Only a year older than C!

Ahem!!!!!! I am now 42 and one day old.... don't make it more than that!!

So how are ya? I miss hearing from you, ya know. And yes, I know what 12-3 is for you, hope this year was better.

Ok, I checked in looking for the "what I got for my birthday" post. New sports car (I remember when she got the red one), cauldron, or just a nice quiet evening with no referreeing required. Fess up blondie.

Well, lesseee..... We went out for coffee/tea and breakfast in the morning, and then we headed off to one of the trendier shopping spots in the city. Mostly window shopping but I got a few little things. Some note cards with a "P" on them. Had a hard time finding them, just about every other letter was there but not that one. Cerrish suggested I just get a "C" since I seem to be as well known by this name as by my "real" name.

Then we went for lunch at a southwestern place. (In the cold and snow of course.... ) We decided it was a little to yuppyish for us but it was ok, it was the company that mattered and that was good.

Stopped at MoA got a couple of things at Macy's (we should not be allowed in the housewares dept.) and then picked up the kids from school.

We took the four of the boys and my D to the Marshall Field's animated holiday display. This year it is Charlie and the Choc factory - not nearly as cute as last year's Paddington Bear.

And then since we were right downtown we stayed for the Holidazzle Parade. It's wonderfully and magically lighted floats and costumes. Music too. They do it every night from T-Giving through Christmas. Twelve years now and this is the first time I've gone. It was wonderful!! I think I liked it more than the kids. LOL

And THEN we dragged them all off to a little Mexican place for a very late dinner.

I got a telescope (which I've been hinting for very strongly LOL). Can't wait to set it up!!

No new cauldrons but some cool home things too. My mom got me a calendar with pics of black cats.... fitting!

It was a good day.

Then I gotta run before "the addiction" sets back in.

I hear ya!! I will never escape you know.

Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas and all the best to you as always my friend. And thanks for being there - I wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for you and Hoffs. I'll always be grateful.

Hugs,
C

Thank you everyone!! It was a wonderful day.... of course a day that begins and ends with cake can hardly be bad now can it? LOL

2Long - I am old enough to drink and go to an R rated movie PUT TOGETHER!!! (and then some!)

JL - If I told you my secret, it wouldn't be a secret any more. Maybe the secret is that it's a secret and if I tell I'll suddenly look like the portrait Dorian Gray has in his attic.

Just J - 3. You are sometimes susceptible to being dogmatic, which can interfere with your ability to discern simple, obvious, up-to-the-minute truths. To shock you out of your tunnel vision, your higher self needs to trick you into making interesting mistakes."

ROTFL.... Dogmatic??? Me... ...oh how well you know me.....

BeeChick - After that post by Just J you want to admit to being a Sag? Oh wait - we are rather arrogant along with our fun loving - happy go lucky side aren't we. And we love every minute of it!!

My address is help@saveyourmarriagecentral.com I'll be here part of tomorrow and all next week.

SAB- 42 and 1/365 and I still get carded. I think the last time was this fall. I would imagine dinner out with 5 kids (two of them adults who called me "mom") kept me from being so last night.

Pep, Kam, SS, MTD, Starving, CSue, SwH, and Oaktown... THANK YOU!!!!!
