I've been married for 24 yrs. Things are getting harder. Almost to the point where I think we can't be together any more. There is alot of macho behavior involved. such as I don't have to tell you where I'm going. He just picks up and leaves without saying where he is going or with who comes back 4,5,6 hours later and will not tell me where he was or what he was doing. He really doesn't include me in much. It is hard for me to trust him for we come from a bad past from before we became christians 3 yrs. ago. Sometimes I think I rather stay by my self than to suffer with him but, it not easy for I love him and it has been 24 years. I tell him if we can go to counseling he says no. I want to talk about it and try to reach a solution but he doesn't want to. I really don't have anyone to talk to thats why i am asking if anyone has any suggestions. I also don't know if I'm wrong or how to solve the problem. I'm forty one and he is forty two. I think we should be doing things together as a couple but he doesn't see it that way. Thanks for listening

the thing your suffering from is lack of knowledge, right now.and wisdom..

I am sad your marriage is in such a mess..
you can look here on the boards..and read it all and do a plan but if he is not willing there
isn't much that can be done other then for you.

I am talking from experience..your 40 I am 60 in aug...the same thing though the running off staying out late..coming home loaded..
and shoving and yelling..your not my mother..

well I wish then I would have said..your right I AM NOT your mother..lol instead I would be quiet and go to bed to get out of the way of the
abuse...I was his wife..but then He did not know how to treat a wife..I am not sure is all the things they do is a learned behaviour the staying out late..

but I was content to be at home..by his side..
I did not need the bright lites..and attention he so much craved from others..

I am sure you get lonley..I am sort of getting tired of dwelling ..then you get stuck..

if you want to talk to me..you can find me at focus on Jesus..like I said the url is in a post on this same board..read what happend to her..and she took the step that helped her..
she is florishing in the Lord..

stop begging and pleading with your husband..
he does not hear it..he hears waaa waaaa waaa..
he really don't have a clue..

hugs...I am EarthAngel in focus on Jesus..
and thats the secret not to focus on him..hubby
nor you...

do you have children??
focus on them..they need you...more then you know..God bless talk soon..
