Hi there, This is my first time posting on this forum. I just really am looking for outside advise on an issue that I have with my fiance.
I have an extreme fear that he will or is cheating on me. But... he is home all the time, sweet, kind, always nice to me and he doesnt understand my paranoia. I feel like I'm crazy for even thinking it, but when he talks to any girl through email (which are his friends) or tells me about something that he did at work. For example if he had to work on a project with Angie then I would get very upset and not want to talk to him. All that time running through my head is that he is cheating on me. I dont know why I do it. Does anyone have any ideas about why this is in my head. I have even bought a book on "Romantic Jelousy" and it hasnt really helped me yet. We are getting married in June and I want this problem gone before we get married. Not much time to go... PLEASE HELP.
-JG

I wouls suggest that you two do some couples counseling. Marrtiage tends to make problems worse, not better, so deal with this now.
Has he ever given you any reason to be so jealous? Have you been this way in other relationships?

No I've never been jealous in other relationships but this is the first relationship I have ever had that was serious. I never really dated much and he was the first guy I had ever been with longer than like 3 months. (We have been together for over 2 years now). We have agreed that we need counciling but have yet to seek it, other than the marriage counciling with the priest from his church (like the pre-requisite course for marriage, lol). I do have a history though of the people that I did date, cheated on me until I found out and we broke up, or I was simply walked all over because I denied it all ever happening in my head. My parents were also unfaithful and I think this may have something to do with it.

Because you observed unfaithfulness from your parents and it has happened to you a few times, is most likely the reason why you are thinking this. Look around and see that he is always with you and that he talks his events with you, there is NOTHING to worry about it, so just relax
