Hot Buttered Rum<P>This warm drink is great at Christmas or on any chilly winter's night.<P>Mix makes about 15 drinks<P>1 cup Brown sugar, packed<BR>6 Tablespoons Butter, room temperature<BR>1/4 teaspoon Allspice<BR>1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon<P>Mix all ingredients well. Refrigerate any unused portion.<P>For each drink, add to a coffee mug:<P>1 Tablespoon of mix<BR>1 1/2 ounce Dark rum<BR>1/2 cup Boiling water<P>Stir well.

Red Lobster Cheese Biscuits<P><BR> Dough:<P> 1 1/4 lbs. Bisquik <BR> 3 Oz. freshly shredded cheddar cheese <BR> 11 Oz. cold water <P> Garlic Spread:<P> 1/2 cup melted butter <BR> 1 teas. garlic powder <BR> 1/4 teas. salt <BR> 1/8 teas. onion powder <BR> 1/8 teas. dried parsley <P> To cold water, add Bisquik and cheese, blending in a mixing bowl. <BR> Mix until dough is firm.<P> Using a small scoop, place the dough on a baking pan lined with <BR> baking paper. Bake in 375 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until <BR> golden brown. While biscuits bake, combine spread ingredients.<BR> <BR> Brush baked biscuits with the garlic topping.<P>

Cracker Barrel's Hashbrown Casserole<P><BR> 2 lbs. frozen hashbrowns<BR> 1/2 cup melted butter <BR> 1 can cream of chicken soup<BR> 1 pt. sour cream<BR> 1/2 cup chopped onion <BR> 2 cups grated cheddar <BR> 1 tsp. salt <BR> 1/4 tsp. pepper <BR> 2 cups crushed cornflakes <BR> 1/4 cup melted butter<P> DEFROST hashbrowns.<BR> <BR> COMBINE next 7 ingr. and mix with hashbrowns. <P> PUT all in a 3 qt. casserole.<P> SAUTE cornflakes in butter and sprinkle on top.<P> COVER and BAKE at 350 for about 40 min.<BR>

Dana.... Hershey's.... yummy!<P>I have some really old family recipes at home... I'll dig them out and post some of the better ones later. Both of my Grandmothers were excelent cooks, and I learned a lot from them... the only thing is, all the recipes will feed an army! Wassail<P>2 lemons, juiced<BR>2 oranges, juiced<BR>3 cups water<BR>1 cup sugar<BR>1 cinnamon stick<BR>1 Tbsp. whole cloves<BR>2 gallons apple cider<P>Put sugar and spices in water. Bring to a boil. Pour all ingredients together and mix. Heat. Serve Hot<P>I love this stuff. Sometimes even cheat and make a quick version by the cup. (Just a touch of all the ingredients to a cup of cider)<P>Unfortunately, this year I'm having trouble finding the fresh cider. Can only find the stuff in the glass jars. Not nearly as good.<P>Happy Happy!!!!

I'll dig up my step moms recipe for breakfast casserole. We fix the ingredients the night before & toss it in the oven while we open presents, then eat it while we watch It's a Wonderful Life.<P>BREAKFAST CASSEROLE<BR>Ingredients: <BR>9 eggs <BR>9 slices bread<BR>3 cups milk <BR>1 lb sausage<BR>1 tsp. salt <BR>pepper - to taste<BR>1 tsp. dry mustard <BR>2 - 3 Cups shredded cheese <BR>Directions: Cook and drain sausage and spread into bottom of 9x13 pan. Cut bread into cubes and spread over sausage. Combine eggs, milk, salt, pepper and dry mustard and pour over bread. Cover with shredded cheese. DELICIOUS HOLIDAY FRUITCAKE<BR>1 cup water<BR>1 cup sugar<BR>4 large eggs<BR>2 cups dried fruit<BR>1 teaspoon baking soda<BR>1 teaspoon salt<BR>1 cup brown sugar<BR>lemon juice<BR>Nuts<BR>1 gallon whiskey<P>Sample the whiskey to check for quality. Take a large bowl.<BR>Check the whiskey again to be sure it is of the highest quality.<BR>Pour one level cup and drink.<BR>Repeat.<BR>Turn on the electric mixer; beat 1 cup butter in a large, fluffy bowl<BR>Add 1 teaspoon sugar and beat again.<BR>Make sure the whiskey is still OK. Cry another tup. Turn off mixer.<BR>Break 2 legs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit.<BR>Mix on the turner.<BR>If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers, pry it loose with a drewscriver.<BR>Sample the whiskey to check for tonsisticity.<BR>Next, sift 2 cups of salt. Or something.<BR>Whocares? Check the whiskey.<BR>Now sift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.<BR>Add one table. Spoon. Of sugar or something.<BR>Whatever you can find.<BR>Grease the oven.<BR>Turn the cake tin to 350 degrees.<BR>Don't forget to beat off the turner.<BR>Throw the bowl out of the window.<BR>Check the whiskey again.<BR>Go to bed.<BR>Who the hell likes fruitcake anyway ???<BR>
