I liked the article. But it refers to people knowing themselves...what happens if your spouse doesn't know themselves? <P>We did do those things...Gottman recommends...and we did connect. Still connect about our days events.(when we talk that is) <BR>so then what?

If you can function on a superficial level, there's got to be some reason that the deeper level failed or fizzled. Most likely it's the man's fault. Because the women have most of the <I>emotional intelligence</I>. So it's up to us guys to learn what's going on and what's going wrong.
