For those who had followed my story...
...just an update.
History:
My stepson's biological father(BF) found his son in July of 2000 (my xW moved out August of 1999).
My xW always wanted to keep his BF away from his son...
...she claimed BF was a stalker, serial-killer, and went as far as claiming an alleged rape toward the end of their marriage (claim made weekend before my divorce with xW)
xW agreed reluctantly (after 11 months) to have a meeting with...
son/xW/OM/BF/BF's girlfriend...
WOW...
Now the update:
And today was the day!
No fighting...
BF focused only on the time talking with his son (my stepson)...
...all went well... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
(45 minutes only... but it's a start)
OM... typical... no handshakes...
...and could only say (they met at a local diner) unceremoniously... "I just lost my appetite"!
BF says... xW... looked "bad"... drawn face... sad/angry attitude... depressed...
BF says... OM... couldn't be more rude... (other than the name-calling I usually got!)
Now... a more "normal" relationship... healthy relationship... between my stepson and his BF... is possible.
I hope less anger will result from my son....
...and little bit of reality about all his mom's lies.
Life will be getting better for all!
[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Jim

Hi Jim...
I've been following along when I can (actually, you were the first person to post to me when I started [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] )... truly you are a God-send to that child. I'm so glad to hear about committed fathers like yourself. I don't have the "authority" to say this in it's truest form but my first thought... "well done good and faithful..."
Peace, peace and more peace to you and your family...
------------------
We cannot do everything at once... but we can do something at once
