Yes, my computer (or should I say computers) have been under some kind of freaky spell lately. First it was the thunderstorm that fried my video card, next I was bored and updating some critical Microsoft updates and the cat walked across the surge protector and flipped the power off totally destroying Windows 2000, now after a not quite so successful restore of the entire operating system, I decided to load MSN instant messaging and opened a whole can of virus worms. At this point, neither of my computers at home will boot and due to the holidays, I haven't had time to worry about it anyway.
Thanks for trying to get in touch with me. I was kind of sad because not one of my friends called me to say Merry Christmas yesterday but your note reminded me that there are people out there thinking about me sometimes. I'm at work now and shouldn't be even replying this way and personal e-mail is way off the allowed charts with my company. I will make sure I write down your e-mail address and as soon as I get the computer "disinfected" I'll write.
I did see Mike recently during a business trip and he is doing well. He sends his best wishes to you and your family. It was good to see him happy and with some opportunities finally coming his way.
I pray God pours out great blessings to you and your family in the coming year.

Dear Lynn,
I am glad that you are let's say OK. I got a lot of SMSs on cell phone regarding Christmas, but the most important one was not there (my ex neithger my new friend I mentioned to you).
I wrote you a long mail and saved it so when you are able to write and read let me know so to continue our connection (if you are willing to).
Till then be sure that a lot of people are thinking of you these days.
