I did a silly thing and came home with a new Cardigan puppy. Was at a dog show and just went to look at the pups... Russell and I looked at each other and it was love at first sight! I see a LOT of puppies and dogs, this was the first that we bonded instantly in quite a long time. It was meant to be! Lots of really weird coincidences came together for this to happen. Twilight Zone stuff, lol.

Been a tough couple of weeks, had to help my old dog over the Bridge about a week and a half ago, took off to Utah to see my daughter in residential therapy, had my younger one fly out of Vegas to visit my parents (gone for a month), came back and had out of town guests and a 3 day dog show.

Overall, it was good, saw old friends, met new ones. Came home with a great little guy who gets along with the rest of the crew. Told the girls today and am now having to send pictures to everyone! I'm just exhausted, but it is a nice exhaustion. Peaceful, not because I am strung so tight emotionally.

My hair is even growing back, had lost a lot of it from the stress of the past 3 years, now in another 6 months or so I might still be predominatly gray, but at least I'll have a full head of hair, lol.

My living room looks like a tornado hit it... two new dog toys, my Nike thongs and slippers have been carted out of the bedroom, and all the poker chips have been scattered. You know what? I'm pretty darn happy!
