My ex is seeing a Unitarian and I'm concerned about how his new ideas will affect our children. Anyone have any info. that may help? Thanks. Mary.

I wouldn't worry too much, mp22. Unitarians very by congregation, but in general they treat all faiths with respect.

The Unitarian church tends to pull people who are Spiritual but who don't like the exclusivity of other denominations. The Unitarians I know are interested in the study of religion and have questioned their own beliefs and come up with answers.

The good news is she won't tell your children not to believe what they believe.

Given the diverse beliefs of their parents, your children are bound to spend a lot of time thinking about and questioning their beliefs. If you try to prevent that, you will send a subliminal message that the teachings of your faith don't stand up to questioning and introspection.

It will be alright in the end. In all ways, the Divine calls to us because the Divine Spirit lives in us all.
