your DH in court regarding the abandonment charges? Hope you don't mind my asking. Did you see that the state of Ga. is appealing yet another judges ruling that cs is unconstitutional? You guys are on a role! I have the lawyers name and number who is representing the father if you need or want it.
Peace,
Melissa

Thanks for thinking of me. No offense taken at all. I love to be the center of attention.

Court was non-eventful. We were almost last and the judge was putting father after father in jail for abandonment (ie. in GA, not paying support). We started to get worried.
But the day before we met with the CS enforcement agency and told them we hadn't had DNA, so they were at court and told judge they drew up the DNA order. So he continued hearing until results come back.
So, OW agreed if DNA show's OC is his we will agree to CS amount and she will drop charges. If DNA shows OC not's his charges dropped automatically.
So either way, will be win/win. She may even agree to CS outside of the agency. We'll see.
I did see the GA appeal going on. more local, here in metro atlanta. It won't be long now before things are changed in GA. I wonder if they loose the appeal will they try to take it to a higher court. Supreme court???
And if not... do they go back and recalculate EVERY support judgement in the state of GA????
do you know?
Z.
