Hi everyone. Just wanted to share with you all, especially the oldies who remember me, that we had our baby! She is a precious little girl. We were in the hospital for 2 days because I had pre-eclampsia and my blood pressure stayed high, but we are now home and doing wonderful.

Her name is Abigail. She was born on July 10. She weighed 5 lbs and 6 oz. Luckily, we had a natural birth and I didn't have to get any of the yucky meds until after she was born.

Daddy is so proud and she already has him wrapped around her tiny little fingers. He is so wonderful with her. I am so happy right now. Words can't explain it. She is beautiful and our family is so different now. This is a new chapter for us as a couple, and I can't wait for all the surprises that being parents will bring us. I knew my H would be a good dad, but I had no idea he would be so attentive. He has been great with me too, taking care of me in the hospital and when we came home. He served me food in bed, cleaned, everything.

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know. Hope all is well with you guys too.

She is so small. My daughter also weighted 5 lbs 6 oz at birth. I remember the diapers falling off her and there was no outfits that fit because she was so small. She is still small for her age. My dad found some premime outfits that fit just right.

thanks for the well wishes and congrats! me and abby are doing great! she gained 4 oz when i took her to her well check up. i was so happy. we are breastfeeding and she is doing so good. of course, i let her eat whenever she wants to. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> she is the boss.

dawn71, you are right about her being tiny! none of her clothes fit her. i did get some preemie onesies and they fit her perfect. she swims in everything else. it is so hot here in arizona that all she needs is onesies for now anyway.
