My h has to go to court because he received papers that he is in contempt. He is paying so I pray this is a mistake. Should I go to court with him? Will the ow have to be there? I am afraid that if I go she will try and start something. I have never seem her at all. Please advised.

I agree with jtigger go to court with your husband to show that you guys are a team. Chances are she will try to start something, but stay strong and ignore any of her comments. OW in my life is a chicken she waits until I am not at there to make up lies on me and then when I come to court she does not say anything.

You need to go with him. She needs to see ya'll together as a team! Go over your papers, every little nook and cranny, get proof that you are doing everything in them. Show the insurance, get a letter from the company is good. Canceled checks, She only has to say he's in contempt, you have to prove he not! That bites but thats the way it is. So get an attorney if you do have everything on the up and up and if she is lying then ask for your attorney fees and you will get them back. Hope everything comes out ok.

We requested a hearing because ow keeps taking us back to court for more cs, but refuses H access to oc and refused to pay attorney fees and did not admit to the comtempt of court charge. So we are documenting everytime H goes to the house and ow does not answer the door. We have police reports and are filing a warrant card with her city for comtempt of family court petition. At first I told H to just leave it alone and was upset when he did and refused to go to court, but As a Christian I must support my husband, so I go to court everytime and ow gets even madder and the lies come out. I pray and let GOd lead my foot steps, not ow. God Bless.

Thanks everyone for your advise. I will go to court with my h. I was looking at some of his check stubs and from the cs record that they did not include also 1400.00 that he has already paid out. This makes me really upset because this is coming out of his check, so why don't they have a record of this.

H also has to pay for daycare. Will he be wrong if he ask the courts for proof that the child has been going to daycare from birth to present? Do you think I will just be causing problems and openning up a can of worms?

I get so angry with my h over all of this. I am the one who is going through the check stubs. I am the one who told him to go to the FOC to get a payment summary. If I have to do all of this mess why didn't he ask me could he sleep with someone else. I am sorry for venting. It just hurts so bad that I have to do all of these thing.

Do anyone have any suggest of what h needs to ask the judge. He has no contact with the child/ow.
H goes to court on Monday. I don't know what will happen. Will they put him in jail? Then what will I do. Will I be able to ask any questions? Do you be in a courtroom with everyone that is in contempt or is this a private meeting with just the parties involved.

I pray that GOD will see us through this and show us the way. I will stop now because I am crying all over my keyboard. I hope to hear from someone before we go to court Monday. What should I do if ow attempt to talk to me. I don't think she will. It is so sad that we as women do not respect each other. Hope to hear from you all soon.

***Will he be wrong if he ask the courts for proof that the child has been going to daycare from birth to present?***

Our ow demanded daycare expense and cs was increased to accomodate. After 2 years we found out grandma was keeping oc at no cost.
OW had to pay us back EVERY dime of daycare expense we paid.(it was a BIG chunk of change)
H and I used the money to go on a cruise.

No you will not be wrong to ask for proof of day care. ow in my life stated that child was in daycare and said a friend of keeping oc at $5 an hour. judge asked for ssn for sitter and she did not have one, so he throw it out. But ow said she was looking into a certified daycare center. she is already going to get $1,100 a month cs and day care will increase because h has to pay 75% of day care.
