http://www.marriagebuilders.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=29&t=005087

I am wondering if anybody else has experienced a similar situation to my own where my WW left me with baby dauaghter 20 days after her birth and ran of with A OM.

1.What are chances that my daughter is his child?
2.Any similar stories with results?
3. Any idea about Psyche of a woman behaving this way?

I don't have time to read your story right now, but I can't imainge any woman leaving her child like that let alone at 20 days old. I'm so sorry your having to deal with this, and I'm so sorry for your child. The only way you'll know about your child is if you do a DNA test.

What a nightmare!! I'm sorry for your pain. I read the beginning of your other thread, and I don't know what to say. I am so very sorry for you and your children. I would be worried whether this man might abuse the children, as he sounds extremely controlling.

Please get a lawyer. Document everything you can (like the abandonment) and protect your rights, like visitation.

Depending on what state you live in, there is a time limit (like 2y) to establish paternity, or you could be forced to assume financial responsibility (child support) at a later date even if she isn't yours!

Good luck, Miguel.

Jenny,

Sorry . she abandoned my 5 year old for 10 days.. and then cam,e bak for him. She ahd already taken the baby of 20 days old .. when she absconded with OM.

I am in UK (Europe).I am worried to death .. and can't sleep some nights.I cannot do anything apart from hurt this man physically and land in jail.

I am doing paternity test without her consent and knowlege .. through pickin up nappy/dipers in household waste .. to send on to labs.. should haver an answer by next week ..This is highly dangerous and illegal.. but I have no options available to me!!

Her OB won't give out any info (at least they won't here in the US) without permission from her. Privacy laws prevent that.
Once you have the paternity tests, and it turns out the child (or are you doing tests on both children?) is yours then I would hire a lawyer that specializes in cases like this. Call your local bar association and ask for a referral. Good luck..

Miguel I only post here so I wanted to address your other thread I just finished reading.

Ok please bare with me since i dont know about the laws there. but It seems that you can easily prove your wife is in an affair if she lives with the man. I would recommend you save all her emails as proof. I would also suggest you interview a lawyer that is very familiar with your justice system there and the judges as well. I know you feel badly about your past experiences but you need an order to see your children you are losing valuable bonding with your youngest child.

What site did you get your information from (address ect of your wife) that the PI could not obtain?

If you go to any anger management now and have it addressed, then when you go before the courts you can say MY ISSUES have already been addressed and are under total control. Do anything constructive that will make you look good to the courts to be alone with your children.
