stbx spent $800 to get me a first class ticket to hawaii to see my mom on easter, just to he could have OW to the family easter get-together. my 13 yo niece was simply disgusted, i just found out from her mom, who left stbx's lying, cheating brother last year.
also, i called OW's house and asked her daughter if stbx was there. she laughed pretty hard, and knew who i was. funn-ny.
oh, i call him stbx, but nothing has been filed yet, i just can't tolerate his crap for one more day, so im leaving him.
thanks for letting me vent...
Sorry about your situation. I'll give you a similar story---When we were separated, then husband was living in barracks. I let him spend Christmas day with us and went all out on nice dinner because I knew it would probably be last holiday together. Anyway, he left during our annual Monopoly game, saying he wasn't feeling well. What he did was go to airport to pick up OW. My daughter and I ran into them accidentally the next day!! I was so upset, that I drove home sobbing and tried tocall my friend, mother, but no one was home. I ended up calling my mother-in-law and crying my eyes out to her. Of course, she said all comforting things, like any mom would. Later on, I find out she knew all along that OW was coming to town--I felt like a total fool. I'm telling you this because it seems these affairs and the people in them lose all site of decent behavior, and it seems to be a pattern in the character of the betrayers. I did end up divorced, but at the time it was unwanted on my part. I wish you luck on wharever path you decide to follow.

Thank you, and I'm doing well. Still do not get along with ex, as you'll see by some of my other postings here. I did want to restore marriage, but he is no interested, and is engaged to his beloved. I put myself into a plan B to protect myself from his continuing insensitivity.
