sing, I do not have much advice, as I have not dealt with this type of situation, but just wanted you to know that you are loved and cared for on this forum. Stay strong, and keep us posted---we care and want to help in any way possible!!

Well, my dear sing,
Guess what? I DO have some insight!
Guess what my son did once, not so long ago? Well, it happened about 2 yrs. ago, actually. How times flies.
He threatened to take his dad's guns (thanks David for buying ALL THOSE GUNS I HATE) and kill his class. Yep, don't do this at home, folks. Why he did it? Mental anguish from his disability: he was being made fun of, hit, kicked, blah, blah, blah...and I say it that way because although it matters VERY MUCH that my child was hurting, NOTHING IS A GOOD REASON TO THREATEN PEOPLE LIKE THIS.
So, the police were called -- therapy was already in place because of his special needs -- and he was not arrested because of several reasons (which I won't list) but here's what happened that I will share:
He's on a kind of schooling where the teacher comes to the house. He doesn't go to school. They don't want him there.
Kids. They pull at your heart, tug at your spirit, and rip it out sometimes... you want to help, you want to teach them, you want them to take responsibility for their actions... but sometimes you just want to hold them in your lap (no matter how old they are) and hold them.
I understand.
My ex-H... well, that's a story. I never want him to die, although I wouldn't have minded him getting a dreaded disease and having his yoo-hoo fall off.
Sing, you are NOT ALONE, dearheart.
Hugs!!
------------------
~Sheryl
(a bit worse for the wear, but hanging in there)
Life is difficult.
The Road Less Traveled
~M.
