I got a copy of the State's summons served to H with the criminal charges. Two separate charges, one carries penalty 4 years, other charge 3 years. I feel bad, but H did it to himself. <P>I just don't understand WHY? It just keeps getting worse. This, I know, has become the point of NO return. It all makes me so SAD. It could have been so different. It's so insane for him to keep on the path to self-destruct. I don't see how he could possibly stand the horrid OW. <P>H was unhappy, he certainly didn't appear happy, he looked BAD. His appearance has deteriorated the worse I've ever seen. It's like he doesn't care anymore. OW's arrogance only displays her vast ignorance. Those poor influenced children. But, it's his choice. Hard to believe someone could be so full of hatred and destructive attitude.<P>I'm having a real hard time with this.......to say the least. It's all so horribly devastating, it's making me sick.

As one who's been there, listen to me. Dive, head-first, COMPLETELY into self-preservation mode. Remind yourself constantly (make a mantra) "This is not my doing."<P>If his fog lifts some, he can possibly plea-bargain. You are in for quite a ride. If you still want to support, do so from a distance. His fog will thicken, it is likely he will now become even more angry at those who are prosecuting him (this includes you). Rational though will be even more non-existent.<P>There is still a chance to save this, but I see it as MANY MONTHS down the road. He needs to go through all of the reprecussions of his actions ALONE, or he will never pull out of this. <P>Will you be required to attend the hearings, or will the state's attorney's handle it without you.
