Ok, I'm new to this site. I just got back from MB weekend and to hear all the stats on infidelity was troublesome to both me and my husband. I was hoping to come on here and hear about the 50% Dr. Harley said make it w/o experiencing infidelity. All I've seen is broken hearts and marriages. Even at the seminar we received Dr. Harley's book...surviving an affair. I mean it's all around us! My husband and I are determined to make it. We both are terrified of infidelity b/c we've seen so much of it. That's why we bought the His Needs/Her Needs book...to have an affair proof marriage. I just want to know where these people are who have affair proofed their marriages? Do they really exist?

You're looking on the wrong part of this discussion forum. Nearly everyone who posts in the "Infidelity" section has experienced infidelity.
Btw, simply because a M has not been touched by infidelity does NOT mean that the couple are happily married.
It is good that you and your spouse are being pro-active about affair-proofing.
Good luck.
OneDay

Kudos to you & your H for educating yourselves on this topic before it could possibly affect you. Society doesn't talk about it like they should. Don't know if this type of education would prevent it all together, but it might help somewhat.
