Not familiar with Tommy's though, but wouldn't be surprised if there's one here.
I just discovered that the 79-cent steak-and-eggs special they used to have down the street has gone up to $2.49, but at least now it's available 24 hours instead of just the wee hours of the morning, so I'll still spring for it. But so far, I'm only in for $4.98 for two of you.

Hey Jo -
I went to Seattle to see an old friend when [censored] was gone at one point. We did the touristy thing and hit all the spots. I love the Seattle area. Gig Harbor was beautiful, we walked up and down the little street that has the Christmas ornament shop, and went in the little boutique. That was so much fun. Did the space needle and the mall downtown connected to that rail deal. Chocolates from Godiva were the high point of the trip.
My friend lived in - shoot. Silly name - Olala or something like that I think. Worked in Bremmerton as a police officer.
Anyway, one of these days I want to take the kids there to sit by that fountain and go on some of those rides.
Elizabeth

Hey sweetie,
Yeah ... that's the town "Olalla', it's about 30 miles form Gig Harbor here on the Penninsula. Bremerton isn't too far away either.
I absolutely love Gig Harbor, although in the last 9+ years several Californian's have migrated here (electronics industry Boom) and due to that property has shot out the roof. Things have stabilized abit since 9-11 tho.
Lora lives here too, approx. a couple miles down the hill. She has a beautiful home. We've been buds for quite some time, do stuff together.
When you visit, you need to come see us. Best time to visit is late Spring thru late Summer. I have never lived in a place that's soooo green and has so many flowers in the Spring, it's Heaven!
Lv,

Jo -
I was there right before [censored] accident, June 2-6 or close to that 2000. They said it was the only time in ages that the weather stayed nice. I will come back soon for a visit.

Well you asked for home and to me, its not a place. I was born in Lubbock, Tx; moved to Minneapolis, MN and then to Houston, Tx, as a 5yo.
When I was a child my mothers home in Houston, Tx, to me wasn't home. My parents who were divorced each had a home... but neither felt like 'mine'.
Then when I moved into my grandparents home in Hobbs, New Mexico, that was their home and I still didn't feel like it was mine.
Then there was college at Abilene Christian University, and all the little apartments that I lived in. Not really my "home's", but the closest I'd felt.
I guess the first place I felt at home was with my WW and my first house, in Aiea (and later Pearl City), Hawaii. That to me was home... and maybe that's where my heart truly was...it followed us back to Houston and 2 houses later... I made my home here with her.
Our last home... to me was the house we lost 3 years ago, when this all began. I haven't been at home since. I've laid my head in Dallas, Tx at her house, but its not my home. Honestly, I had begun to think that not matter where I was at... as long as it was with her, THAT was my home.
Well to be demographic, my home is in Houston. To be correct, I'm homeless.. (not just because I'm homeless... in the true sense of the word) because my heart isn't into it without her being near.
Something big that I'm going to have to get over... I suppose..
SOOOO anyhow.. I'm from Houston, Tx.. (yes there is more than one Houston) and my neighbors are Honey and Feeling So Alone. Shout out to Guardian in Fort Worth, Melodylane in Longview, FireFly10 in Lubbock and finally Gibby in Plano!!!
SO.. I think we Houston, Texans are the furthest south southerners here ...
By the way.. all of us Texans aren't long winded.
