My H & I will be seperating in 4 days (some of you already know my story) my question is why is it that because i am in plan A (moving to plan B when I leave) doing stuff for me that H is soooo angry, I asked if we could not fall out these last few days but he is making hurtful comments like he can't wait to get out of here etc etc changed one of our computer passwords to something about being away forever (a passwrod he knew i would be asking for) & is just generally nasty. When he's here he acts like everything is normal in his life unless i ask him something & then he has a smart [censored] comment about it or is just down right nasty. He is spending more time away from the place than he's here at the moment & he acts like I have some sort of disease. As he left the other day he mumbled something(we had been having a discussion) so i nicely asked him to repeat what he had said his reply was "you aren't giving me any choice" But it's actually me that doesn't have a choice, our place is sold I have nothing to move onto & he is taking one of our businesses with him. Yesterday I asked him how he felt about moving out into an outside room (we have been in seperate parts of the home) so that I can finish getting the place cleaned up, he said as long as you won't be out there! Although he is acting as if he doesn't have a care in the world when i'm around my friends tell me he looks so sad when he's around them, they don't get to witness his nasty remarks. Maybe he is worried about what will happen when i go to see my lawyer today cause he said he's not spending a fortune on a lawyer, but i have to look after my interests don't i but i know this is a huge LB for him. Anyone make anything of this???

He's pushing you away, it's way of detaching.
Maybe even a way of making you blow up so he can plant that in his foggy memory as the "reason" it would "never" work.
Making it difficult for you to love him which makes it more unlikely you'd be open to reconcilation.
He's burning bridges.
Keep your wits about you, behave in the way that is right and good for you. Don't let him bring you down into his negative world.
Be cordial, polite...it likely won't improve his behavior, but you won't regret yours.

Hang in there, I aggree that he is either detaching from you, or having problems with knowing where his life is going. He maybee pushing you away, but he is sure trying to do it in a way that he wants to get a reation. As long as you can be civil, you will never regret your actions. One day he will, but that is his choice, and as his other choices he will have to live with those choices.
