It's a real live documentary focusing on how life's problems can nearly destroy a marriage. The theme is the challenge of REPAIRING a damaged marriage. I have never before watched anything so inspiring and so close to what H and I have had to face. It can be ordered from a PBS home video catalogue.
I'm so sick of the ridiculous movies out there that make a mockery of marriage. They glorify and romanticize ifidelity. This documentary is so true to life and so refreshing, well worth the time it takes to watch it.
Thanks, Replaced
[ May 13, 2002: Message edited by: Replaced ]
[ May 13, 2002: Message edited by: Replaced ]

Actually I hadn't thought much about her leaving, mostly was very annoyed at her relatives interfering with their "comments".
Notice that she actually did leave a letter on the table telling him to get help or else she wouldn't be back. That's the only reason he made any changes, she put her foot down!
Replaced

Ya know,
Another thing I just thought of: remember when she went to school? You could see her blossom, she was laughing with friends and stuff. But remember how angry this made him? He threw tantrums. She (I think) came to the conclusion she could be without him and be ok THEN he changed.hmmm

Yup,
HE didn't change until SHE did. She stopped complaining about stuff and trying to get him to see things her way. She went ahead and did what she thought was best for all of them.
One cool thing about him was that he admitted all along that he felt insecure about losing her. He was man enough to say that. Also that if a man doesn't have the ba!!s to admit he has a problem, then how can he call himself a man.
Replaced
