I don't know you all. However, I feel like i have friends here. Strange isn't it that when it gets to be to much for me, here i come here. Here i have realized that i am not alone, that with or without him i will be ok. That many of you have walked in my shoes. That your advice is from experience. This morning I saw this quote and I am going to apply it. Learn from the mistakes of others; you can't live long enough to make them all yourself.
Have a great day ya'll THANKS FOR BEING THERE.

That quote was included in a pass-around Email a friend sent me yesterday, so I stuck it on my sig line because it's basically what this site is for.
Before D-day, I had already been looking for answers regarding infidelity and how to survive since I suspected that was what was happening to my M. So, by D-day, I had already talked to many survivors and those in recovery. When my H confessed and wanted to move back home, I shared with him what I learned from the experts (those who've already been down this road), and I outlined in detail what was necessary to have any chance of recovery. I told him that I would have to put my trust in them since I couldn't trust him anymore.
Unfortunately, he has chosen to disregard all that for the last 8 months. If he had followed the advice of that quote as I was trying to do, we would be 8 months further along. Life is too short to waste so much time when you don't have to.
