Thought I might as well post this -- change of pace for me, so don't be too shocked!
Most of you I am sure are somewhat familar with my story & the anxiety I feel with the lack of recovery effort she seems to have invested & the way she dresses & acts many times (flirtatious manners. I was triggered again the other night when she came home from work, in her hipster jeans; heels; VS, Wonder bra (36D) and short, tight top and she was in a regular posture and a slim part of her upper adomen (At least 3 inches or so below her belly button (between jeans & top) is exposed to show off her full body tan. To offer some perspective, she is 5'5" and is 130 lbs. --Thin, excellant figure, but not peteat (sp? sorry, I am bad!). I was doing the laundry & and noticed a pair of jeans were size 6 and virtually all of her GAP tops were strecth, size "small" -- So, yes, she has the young,(or person 49 wanting to look young) Barbi Doll, "Hot Babe" look. I want everyone to know; I said nothing! I am actually less anxious about this than before. Choosing to ignore -- I walked away, choosed to not look at her with this look -- Out of sight out of mind strategy here. Also, working similar strategy by not calling her at all, even on her days off!
Maybe I should forget about the "look" & lack of communication during the day,& just trust her!
Here is the good news part:
I have noticed that with her compulsion for shopping (sorry, she has over 100 tops and we are not rich!) that she has actually turned a lot of this attention to me, as she has brought home 4 sport coat outfits for me over the past few months. This is, particularily in her world, a big focus on me, & that I have not seen this in a while. And I almost neglected to recognise this! Now, here is a big poisitive; ... are you ready. Yesterday she was suffering from a severe migrain & I stayed home & cared for her -- got the medicaition -- back rubs, holding & comforting kinds of things (BTW, we were intimate as this is a potential cure with the endorphines that are throne off in the brain and with the eurphoric feelings and all!), but on two seperate occasions she actually voiced the Words "I Love You" ... for taking care of me like this."
For this I am thankful. I am not wanting to take such a harsh stand against your Hubby, but try to offer perspectives from afar that I feel will help YOU! I kow form your posts that you are a very intellignet, caring person & did I read where Lexxxy commented that you are good looking?! I am sure yu are way to modest to comment & none needed! Not that beauty is all that important (believe me, I know the pain I feel & my W is quite the looker!, so I understand that this beauty thing can be way over-rated & is not the answer to everything!) But I just wanted to say, you seem to be doing well, considering & I want to encourage you to keep up the good work & thanks for the updates! Love ya like a brother!! HH
