I need to know if this is just plain a bad idea on my part. Sat. is my H's b-day and I had a surprise party planned for him. As it sits now I did not know if he would be here or not so I told him I had invited a few of our friends over to celebrate. I told him the time and asked if he thought he could be there. He said he would make it. My question is am I totally insane to still be having a party for him? I don't even think he really lives here anymore, and he won't even let me know what is going on. I do know he said he wanted a D. I spent half my day making plans so that it would be special and will spend the next two nights cooking for it. I know in my heart I do want it to be something special for him. Have I lost it?! I don't plan on letting on to any of the guest that things are strained between us, and I will be as loving as I can be towards my husband. Is this above and beyond trying to save my marriage, or is it normal for me to carry on as if nothing has happend?
Image

If you are in Plan A, then cook your heart out, love your husband, and enjoy the party

I'm with BR, do it because you want to and you love your husband!! Enjoy yourself!!
I sent WH a Dave Koz CD that I knew he would love for his Bday, he was visiting with OW. He thanked me for the CD and said how much he had wanted the CD, he listened to it while traveling for 3 days to come visit the kids over Christmas, hope that he thought of me as he listened.
Just wanted to share as wasn't sure if you were planning for a gift or if the party was the gift.
Enjoy,
